Matching Manicures Sunday: Inspired by an Artwork

Za ovonedeljni manikir inspiraciju tražimo među umetničkim delima, a ja sam svoju našlu u slici pod nazivom In a Dilemma autorke Sam Freek. 

For this week's manicure we are looking for inspiration among artworks and mine is a picture called In a Dilemma by Sam Freek.

Da bih postigla efekat sličan onom na slici primenila sam tehniku koju sam videla na Instagram profilu Ane_li. Pošto nemam silikonsku podlogu, koristila sam plastičnu kesu. Na kesu sam nanela malo crnog laka i čačkalicom "šarala" po njemu dok nisam dobila željenu šaru. Nema potrebe nanositi veliku količinu laka na isto mesto jer će proces onda duže trajati. Nanela sam dobar sloj nadlaka (koristila sam oba navedena) i sačekala da se osuši pa dobijene nalepnice odlepila sa podloge. Pri nanošenju mi je nadlak izgleda rastvorio crni lak tako da su linije izgubile svoju oštru formu. Na nokte sam nanela bazu i dva sloja belog laka pa kad se to osušilo dodala sam tanak sloj EzFlow nadlaka i odmah postavila nalepnice. Viškove sam isekla makazama, a četkicom i acetonom počistila nered. Na kraju sam nanela prvo Golden Rose pa onda EzFlow nadlak. 

To reach the effect similar to the one on the picture I used the technique I saw on Instagram profile Ane_li. I don't have silicone mat so I used plastic bag instead. I put some black polish onto the bag and used a toothpick to scribble over the polish until I got the wanted pattern. The is no need to put too much polish on the same spot because the process will last longer in that case. I applied a good layer of top coat over the black polish (I used both ones listed above), waited to dry and peeled off the decal. When applying top coat it sort of dissolved the black polish so the lines lost heir sharp form. I applied base coat and two layers of wihte polish. When that was dry I added a thin layer of EzFlow top coat and put the decals. I cut the excess and did the clean up with brush and acetone. In the end I applied first Golden Rose and then EzFlow top coat. 

Ne mogu reći da sam zadovoljna ovim manikirom, no poštedeću vas kukanja. Zato obavezno pogledajte šta su druge devojke pripremile, verujem da ćete se oduševiti. 

I can't say that I am satisfied with this manicure but I will spare you complaining. Make sure you chek out what other girls have prepared, I believe you will be thrilled.
