Matching Manicures Sunday: crno-beli manikir

Ovonedeljnon temom se vraćam u svoju zonu komfora s obzirom da radimo crno-beli mankir. Sve dok nema previše bele, volim ovu kombinaciju i često joj dodajem ljubičastu, ali ovoga puta sam se striktno držala zadatka. Već smo imali ovu temu, a kako sam se prošli put snašla, možete videti ovde.

I am coming back to my comfort zone with today's theme since we are doing black and white manicures. As long as there isn't too much of white, I love this combination and I often add some purple but this time I sticked to the task. We have already had this task, and what I did the previous time you can see here.

Odlučila sam se za vrlo jednostavnu tehniku suve četkice (dry brush, distressed) koju ste već mogli da vidite ovde. Uglavnom, nanesoh bazu i dva sloja crnog laka pa sam sa prilično "očišćenom" četkicom belog laka prelazila preko noktiju i vodoravno i uspravno. Zatim sam isto to uradila i sa crnim lakom, a po potrebi još jednom belim, dok nisam dobila zadovoljavajući balans crne i bele. Nitne sam lepila mat nadlakom, kojim sam i premazala ceo manikir na kraju. Osim što je jednostavna, ova tehnika vam omogućava i da iskoristite neki lak koji je skoro istrošen ili sasušen (takav je npr. moj beli).

I decided to do simple dry brush / distressed manicure, which you could already see here. Anyway, I applied base coat and two layers of black polish and then went across the nails with pretty "cleaned" brush of the white polish, both horizontally and vertically. I repeated the process with black polish and I used the white one again where it was needed so I get the satisfying black-white balance. I sticked the studs with matte top coat which I applied on all my nails in the end. Besides being simple, this technique enables you to use some almost dried or spent polish (my white polish is like that).
