Matching Manicures Sunday: Glitter

Ako nešto volim na noktima, to su šljokice. Moram priznati da ih ne nosim toliko često jer ipak treba stići isprobati i razne druge efekte i finiše...

If I love something on my nails, it's glitter. However, I have to admit that I don't use glitter that much because other finishes and effects are waiting to be tried out... 

Za ovonedeljni manikir sam koristila / For this week's manicure I used:

Essence Nauti Girl 01 Ahoy, Boy!

Srebrne holo šljokice / Silver holo glitter

Golden Rose Nail Art 107 

Golden Rose Prodigy Gel top coat

Kao podlogu za manikir sam iskoristila Essence tamnoplavi lak nanet u dva sloja. Zatim sam ređala šljokice, jednu do druge, pazeći da ih što pravilnije postavim. Za lepljenje sam koristila nadlak, a za ređanje čačkalicu. Kao pogodnom alatkom pokazala mi se i patent olovka - lakše je držati nego čačkalicu, a i bolje mogu da vidim šta radim. Tik uz "pruge" od šljokica sam dodala linije srebrnim lakom. Ukoliko pogrešite, možete jednostavno uzeti tanku četkicu i baznom bojom popraviti. Na kraju sam manikir zaštitila sa dva sloja nadlaka. 

As a base colour I used Essence dark polish which I applied in two coats. Then I carefully added glitter, one piece right next to other, making sure I place them as precisely as possible. I used top coat to stick the glitter, and for placing toothpick. I have also found mechanical pencil very useful for placing the glitter - it's easier to hold than toothpick and enables me to see better where I put the glitter. Near each glitter "stripe" I added silver lines, one on each side. If you make a mistake, you can just use a striping brush and base colour to make some corrections. In the end I protected manicure with two layers of top coat.
