Essence Hidden Stories - Enchanted by hint of mint

Još kada sam prvi put videla trend kolekciju Hidden Stories, lakovi su me dosta zainteresovali sa svojim efektima. Međutim, kao po običaju, Essence proizvodi su nam kasnili, tako da nam je ova kolekcija stigla tek nedavno (trebala je da bude dostupna od januara do marta). Ostala sam ravnodušna kada sam je videla u DM-u, no ipak sam se počastila jednim lakom. Moj izbor je pa na Enchanted by hint of mint. Pored ovog, kolekcija sadrži još četiri laka: Enter wonderland (mat beli), Mauve-llous fairy (svetlucajući ljubičasti), Where did I park my unicorn (metalik plavi) i Rose in wonderland (svetlo rozi). Samo sam četiri boje videla, mislim da nedostaje upravo Rose in wonderland, ako grešim, ispravite me.

Even since I first saw Hidden Stories trend edition, the polishes intrigued me with their effects. However, the Essence products were late so this collection arrived almost three months later than it was supposted to, so I wasn't too excited when I saw it in DM but I bought myself one polish. I chose Enchanted by hint of mint. Apart from this one, there are four more polishes in the collection: Enter wonderland (white matte), Mauve-llous fairy (sparkling purple), Where did I park my unicorn (metallic blue) i Rose in wonderland ("the iced" light pink).

Essence lakovi ne sadrže toluen, formaldehid, DBP, kamfor i formalinski rezin. Pripadnici kolekcije Hidden Stories imaju četkicu srednje dužine, pljosnatu i ravno sečenu. Dolaze u bočicama od 10 ml i koštaju 269 dinara, a dostupni su u DM-u.

Essence polishes are 5-free. The ones from Hidden Stories collection have medium-lenght, flat and straight cut brush. They come in 10-ml bottles.

Enchanted by hint of mint je vrlo bled, isprani mint lak, trunku zasivljen. Ispunjen je srebrnim šimerom koji je mnogo uočljiviji u bočici nego na noktima. Na noktima se jedva primeti tek pri slabom osvetljenju. Možda je vidljiviji na direktnom suncu, što ne mogu da tvdim jer je već nekoliko dana oblačno. Efekat ovog laka je označen kao "the frosted" (prekriveno injem), ali pod tim ne podrazumevaju ništa drugo no hrapavost. Lak se lepo nanosi, dva sloja su potrebna za potpunu pokrivenost i ujednačenost. Suši se dosta brzo. Po mom mišljenju, lak može da izgleda elegantno, ali u kombinaciji sa mojim noktima to nije slučaj. Sve slike su nastale u sobi, uz otvoren prozor. Imam dva sloja laka i nemam nadlak.

Enchanted by hint of mint is very pale, washed out mint polish, slightly greyed-out. It contains silver shimmer which is much more visible in the bottle than on the nails. It can be barely seen on the nails in the low light. It might be more noticeable in the sunlight, but I couldn't tell since it's been cloudy for a few days. The effect of this polish is "the frosted"  but it is nothing else but sand texture. The application is nice and it takes two coats for full coverage and opacity. It dries very quickly. In my opinion, this polish can look elegant but not on my nails. All the pictures were taken inside, by the window. I have two coats of polish and no top coat.
