Malena 51

U februarskom postu ste videli da sam nabavila dva laka brenda Malena. Malena cosmetics je makedonska kompanija čiji su proizvodi nemačkog i francuskog porekla. Konkretno kada su u pitanju lakovi, na bočici od 12 ml piše da su napravljeni u Francuskoj, ali da se pune u Makedoniji. Na osnovu navedenog sastava, ne sadrže pet famoznih štetnih supstanci. Na etiketi piše da sadrže etil-acetat, butil-acetat, izopropil akohol i pigmente. Malena lakovi su kod nas dostupni već oko godinu dana u Liliju po ceni od 139 dinara, a još uvek su sniženi na 99.

In February post you could see I had got two Malena nail polishes. Malena cosmetics is a Macedonian company whose products are of French and German origin. When it comes to nail polishes, on the 12-ml bottle it is written that they are made in France as well as that they are filled in Macedonia. According to the ingredients listed, they are 5-free. The label says they contain ethyl-acetate, butyl-acetate, isopropyl alcohol and pigments. 

Već neko vreme sam u potrazi za nijansom koju zovem "žvaka zelena". Malena broj 51 me je privukao upravo jer je ličio na traženu boju. Nešto je drugačiji od nijanse koju sam zamislila ali mi se i dalje veoma dopada. U pitanju je intenzivna zelena sa vrlo malo bele u sebi koja ublažava napadnost. Na  dnevnom svetlu je boja jarka, dok je pod veštačkim prigušenija i nežnija. Četkica je klasična - tanka, okrugla, dugačka - i nije teško rukovati njome. Lak je trunu ređi i treba dobro ocediti četkicu jer se lak može sliti u zanoktice. Istovremeno treba paziti da na četkici ostane dovoljno laka da se nokat odjednom nalakira. Naime, vreme koje je potrebno da umočite četkicu u lak je dovoljno da se već naneseni lak stegne i ponovnim prelaženjem preko tog mesta ostaju neravnine. Sjaj je pristojan. Bez obzira što se lak brzo stegne, brzina sušenja mu nije na zavidnom nivou. Potpuno pokrivanje i ujednačenost se postižu sa tri sloja. Nanela sam i treći jer mi je tako izgledao lepše.

For a while I've been searching for a shade I call "chewing gum green". Malena number 51 attracted me right because it looked like the colour I wanted. It is something different from the shade I had on my mind but I still love it. The colour of this polish is intensive green with a bit of white in it which makes it look less catchy. In daylight it is bright and vivid, whereas in fake light it is a bit muted and softer. The brush is classic - round, long, thin - and it is not difficult to handle. The polish is slightly thinner so you should remove the excess off the brush since it can get into your cuticles. At the same time you need to take care the brush has enough polish for one whole nail. The time it takes you to dip the brush into bottle again enough for polish to tighten and re-application of polish over the already painted spots makes uneven surface. The gloss is decent. Although the polish tightens quickly, the drying speed could be better. Complete coverage and opacity are provided with two coats. Yet I applied three because the polish looks prettier.

Boju je bilo gotovo nemoguće uslikati, stoga slike nisu verne. Uživo boja ne izgleda ovako isprano. Na svim slikama imam tri sloja laka, bez nadlaka. Treća slika je nastala na dnevnom svetlu, a ostale pod veštačkim svetlom. Poslednja je najvernija. 

The colour was practically impossible to catch, so the pictures aren't realistic. It doesn't look washed out like this. On all the pictures I have three layers of polish, no top coat. The third picture was taken outside, and the rest of then in fake light. The last one is the most realistic.
