Matching Manicures Sunday: Gradijent

Već nekoliko puta smo radili gradijent manikire u okviru usklađenih manikira. Volim ovu tehniku ali je ne primenjujem tako često jer obično posegnem za nečim što zahteva manje vremena.

We have done gradient manicures several times for the matching manicures. I love this technique but I don't often do it because I usually go for something that requires less time.

Matching Manicures Sunday: Inspired by Book

Nakon dve malo nezgodne teme, sledi jedna koja mi je lakše pala. Za razliku od prošlog puta kada smo radili manikire inspirisane knjigom, Crno sunce jesam pročitala, ali što se inspiracije tiče zadržala sam se na samom naslovu i koricama knjige. 

After two tasks which weren't easy to me, it is time for one that I am more familiar with. Unlike the last time we did manicures inspired by book, this one, I did read The Black Sun but when it comes to the inspiration I sticked to the title and cover.

Matching Manicures Sunday: Narandžasti manikir

Ove nedelje nosimo narandžaste manikire. Sa narandžastim lakovima se baš i ne slažem stoga u kolekciji imam svega par komada. Međutim, ironično je to što lak koji sam odabrala za današnji manikir zapravo sam mazala više puta nego i jedan drugi lak u poslednje vreme - čak tri puta od prošlog proleća od kada ga imam.

This week we are wearing orange manicures. I don't really get along with orange polishes, therefore I have only a few of them in my collection. Although it's ironic that the polish I chose for this manicure, I have worn more than any other polish lately - three times since last spring when I bought it. 

Diskretan cvetni manikir: BPS Stamping Plate BP-24

U poslednje vreme sam baš raspoložena za pečatiranje što nije čudno s obzirom na pločice koje su mi se vremenom nakupile. Iako se pečatiranjem mogu kreirati zaista privlačni manikiri, ovoga puta sam se odlučila za svedeniji izgled.

I have been in mood for stamping a lot lately which is not strange considering all the plates I've collected over the time. Stamping can enable creating very attractive manicures but this time I decided to go for a subtle look.

Lišće na noktima: jesenji manikir (BP-19)

Pre nekoliko dana je bilo kišovito i hladno pa sam malo nokte uskladila sa jesenjim vremenom, a za to mi je poslužila Born Pretty Store pločica za pečatiranje BP-19.

A few days ago it was rainy and cold so I matched my nails a little with the autumn weather and for that I used a stamping plate from Born Pretty Store BP-19.

Obrnuto pečatiranje - neonski trouglovi

Nakon dvostrukog pečatiranja, oprobala sam se u još jednoj tehnici pečatiranja - obrnutom pečatiranju (reverse stamping). Odabrala sam motiv trouglića, a kako je manikir ispao možete videti u nastavku članka.

After double stamping, I tried another stamping technique - reverse stamping. I chose the triangle motif from the BPS plate L-009, and now you will see what manicure turned out like.

IBD Starburst

Dugo sam merkala IBD lakove da bih na kraju za početak odabrala Starburst. Ove lakove proizvodi ista kompanija kao i China Glaze lakove. Paleta boja im nije toliko velika ali verujem da svako može da pronađe za sebe po nešto. Četkica im je dugačka, srednje tanka, okrugla i plastična. Ne sadrže formaldehid, toluen i DBP. Dostupni su Alexandar Cosmetics-u i koštaju 387 dinara pri čemu dobijate 14 ml laka.

I've noticed IBD polishes long time ago and I finally chose one for the beginning - Starburst. They are produced by the same company which produces China Glaze polishes. The colour palette is not that big but I think everyone can find something for themselves. The brush is long, medium thin, round and plastic. They don't contain toluene, formaldehyde and DBP. You get 14 ml of polish.

Jednostavan manikir #4

Golden Rose Rich Color 06

Još jedan pripadnik moje Rich Color družine je broj 06. Lakovi iz ove linije imaju po 10,5 ml te koštaju od 110 dinara. Ne sadrže ni jednu od pet štetnih supstanci.

Malena 35

Malena su lakovi makedonske firme koji su kod nas dostupni u Lilly-ju po ceni od 139 dinara. Dolaze u količini od 12 ml i navodno ne sadrže ni jedan od pet famoznih štetnih sastojaka. Ovo je moj drugi Malena lak i nažalost moram reći da sa prvim imam bolje iskustvo.

Malena are products of a Macedonian company. They come in 12-ml bottles and are supposed to be 5-free. This is my second Malena polish, and unfortunately I have to say that my experience with the first one is better.

Matching Manicures Sunday - Spring

Proleće jeste uveliko došlo ali je prolećni manikir tek sad došao na red. Odabrala sam, gle čuda, da crtam ruže koje već neko vreme želim da uklopim u neki manikir, pogotovo nakon ovog neuspelog pokušaja.

Spring has been on for a while but spring manicure hasn't come to its turn until now. I have chosen to draw roses which I've wanted to do for some time especially after this unsuccessful try.

Imali ste priliku da vidite ovaj lak u manikiru sa šljokicama koji sam radila u okviru usklađenih manikira. Još tada sam htela da napišem koju reč o njemu ali sam shvatila da ovaj lak zaslužuje zaseban članak.

You have had the chance to see this polish in the glitter manicure I did for the matching manicures. Even then I wanted to write something about it, but I realized that this polish deserves its own post.

Matching Manicures Sunday - Saran wrap

Današnji zadatak u okviru MMS je saran wrap. Saran wrap je tehnika za koju vam je potrebna samo plastična folija za hranu ili celofan. Sve što treba da uradite je da nokte nalakirate jednom bojom i ostavite da se osuši, a potom nanesete i drugi lak. Dok se drugi lak ne osuši zgužvanom folijom tapkajte po noktu. Time uklanjate lak i dobijate razne šare.

Today's assignment for MMS is saran wrap. Saran wrap is a technique which you only need kitchen plastic foil or cellophane for. All you have to do is paint your nails with one colour, let it dry and then add another colour. While it is wet, touch your nails with foil crumpled into little ball. That way you remove polish and you get different shapes.
